Great place for a walk. The council needs to spend money to fix the walk at the cliffs. it gets alot of visitors because the views are amazing and well worth the visit. There is plenty of parking. There is a public toilet you have to pay to use.

Super seaside walk from Whitehead, follow the path from the harbour and keep going. For the first part of the path it's totally flat, once you reach the houses its either up the cliff to the lighthouse or round the corner and then up the steps. We mostly go up the cliff path to the top and then down and round the lighthouse, it's steep and in places hard going but the views all the way up are fantastic. On the way down there are a lot of steep steps so beware, the path gets very narrow and you are just feet above the crashing waves. Overall it takes about an hour from the carpark, very worthwhile walk.
